lyrics
Let me feel the burning sun rising from the sea.
I feel your voice caress my skin, a breath of silken flame;
Promises of things to come, of pleasure and of pain.
We're caught up in this dance of life - players in this endless game.
Pulses beating in the dark as sparks fly through my veins.
Let me feel the burning sun rising from the sea
Tear the stars down from the sky and set our bodies free
Feel your heartbeat catch your breath - spirits taking flight.
Let the dark unlock your soul, this silent, holy night.
We're coming to get you - we're coming to take you far away -
We're coming to fetch you now!
We're going to teach you some marvelous, wonderful games to play.
We're going to take you now!
Let go of what holds you - the chains that they forged you year-by-year.
Let go of your inner strife,
And join in our dancing - join in our worship of mind and flash -
Join in our songs of Life!
Let me feel the burning sun rising from the sea.
Tear the stars down from the sky, and set our spirits free.

Spektakulär. Es gibt kein anderes Wort dafür.
Vielen Dank für die Gelegenheit, eines der besten Prog-Alben aller Zeiten zu hören.

I remember the excitement when The Sentinel was released having seen the band live a few times before. I loved the album but was aware that there were tracks missing and it had been rumoured that it was to be a double album. To hear all these takes and works in progress takes me right back to the 80's and the buzz of all the new prog that was coming out back then. This is an absolutely essential purchase for any Pallas fan. nuttinikki
